Years of perseverance and hard work have finally paid off: At our 27th Plugfest last week, we succeeded in setting up our most stable TSN core network ever.
- Synchronization
- Traffic Shaping
- Heavy Traffic load
- Long-term Stability Testing
Why are we so excited about this? After focusing on the infrastructure for many events, endpoints and applications are finally moving back into the focus. We not only started testing the network with new workloads and used the TSN Testbench, but also used real world industrial traffic.
But there is more good news: We also continued work on our “Common Interoperability Challenges” whitepaper which summarizes the issues we encountered over the last years and will be a guideline for everybody implementing TSN in the future. Stay tuned – it will be published soon!
Are you feeling inspired to test you TSN devices or application?
Are you perhaps getting ready to start your TSN development and need a starting point and a community?
Then there is more good news for you: The next Plugfest is already scheduled for October 15th to 17th.
Feel free to contact Florian Frick if you are interested in more details.
